Saw Clash of the Titans last night with the big name cast (Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington, Mads Mikkelsen) and it was just wildly disappointing. I was a big fan of the original as a kid and wanted to try and relive that, but this simply was storyless and basically not very interesting or entertaining. Ouch… I can never get those two hours back.Ray Harryhausen’s original... read more

I was doing some more aerial photos the other day and was told about ATC fines… Air Traffic Controllers can be fined for inappropriate language on occasions. One was recently fined $1000 for calling a British Airways pilot a “weenie” for not complying. I think pilots can be fined too.The most outrageous one that raised a few eyebrows (and a fine) was when a pilot coming in to... read more

Crazy shoot day. I did a shoot of a hybrid vehicle with Olympic 2010 Logos on it. Needed to be shot today (Friday) and final file required in Toronto on Monday ideally. I had the great opportunity to ride along with Vancouver Police tonight. Really interesting. The most shocking call for sure was the “man shot in face and woman with gun still in the building” call… We arrived at East Hastings and there were at least 10 police, 3 of whom had machine guns. The most dangerous part of the call was that the woman with the gun was reputed to still be there…... read more
