Saw a good movie about an amazing story of a Detroit “construction worker” who should have been a star musician in the US but was virtually unknown. The unbelievable part was that unbeknownst to him, he has a superstar in RSA (South Africa). He was bigger than Elvis and equal to the Beatles in popularity in Capetown. Crazy story told with original footage. Really worth seeing and best to see “cold” without seeing the trailers. Just be patient and wait to see what unfolds. Hope you enjoy it.

The film is called SEARCHING FOR SUGARMAN. Poor name but good film. All about 70’s singer SISTO RODRIGUEZ.
