OLD BIKE BECOMES NEW

Posted by on Sep 21, 2013 in BLOG | 0 comments Ok it is not that old at all, but the parts on this Trek bike were the horrible Sram ones and made me crazy. Huge thanks to my friend Alex (Sasha) who did the big swap for me. I rode this today and it felt like a new bike. Yahoo. This DURACE stuff is really nice. So glad to have it on there today. I am almost convinced the parts made me faster too.

GREAT WALL MARATHON!

I did the half marathon distance but now wish I did the full just for the pleasure of covering that section of the wall again. People from 52 countries came to partake and everyone seemed to have had a good time. Not a fast time though since those walls are steep!)This South American fellow raced it pretty much barefoot!
