WILLIAM JANS HIKE / RUN ROUTES:
(2.77 KM) PENDER HILL (LOT TO LAKE) (loop)
*** Up our own built trail from my lot (steep), then down to the corner of the lake the walk back up to dock for a refreshing swim after your hike! (2 KM)
-From 9 min to 1 hour up, 20 min down. (95% trail, 5% road on return)
(4.34 KM) PENDER HILL (OVER & AROUND) (loop)
** Up our own built trail from my lot (steep), then down BEHIND mountain then walk back around (3 KM)
-Approx / 0:00 hike (70% trail, 30% road)
(6.6 KM) THREE LAKES (loop)
*** A lovely walk or run loop that passes 3 lakes. All pavement. Walked often by many, despite no sidewalks.
-Approx 38 min run (100% road)
(12.3 KM) P HILL TO SAKINAW (loop)
-As above but this adds running along Sakinaw Drive near the ocean too.
-Approx 1:10 min run / xx min walk (80% trail, 20% road)
(8.3 KM) P HILL TO LEE (loop) (4 km shorter than bear loop)
-Longer run or hike that starts with going OVER pender hill. Expect to get lost a bit, but you’ll get sorted.
-Approx 60 min run / xx walk) (65% trail, 35% road)

(15.0 KM) MAD PARK (hitchhike back)
-Longer run, and involves going through a friend’s property, so maybe best to chat we me on this one, or run the road around the Petrocan instead (adds 1 km)
-Approx 1:30 min run / too far to walk (45% trail, 55% road)
(2.0 KM) SAK BLUFF (out & back) drive to start
*** Short easy 1 km hike out that passes where Sakinaw lake and the Ocean meet. Salmon counting offices there too. 2km return. Good for all ages. Drive to start or add going OVER pender hill to get there
-Approx 0:15 run / 0:30 hike (100% trail)
